My Advents Work Great Again!
After 35 years my Advent speaker woofers had deteriorated and were crackly sounding. Replacing them with these replacement woofers from Simply Speakers has made them sound like new again! The shipping was prompt, the installation was a breeze, and the sound is like the original. Very pleased!

Really Great Investment!
For more than 20 years I lugged the factory original cabinets from apt to apt, storage unit to storage unit, and finally they found a home in the house I bought -- but they still lacked woofers. Purely by chance I found this site one day and I can ASSURE you that I do NOT regret finding it OR purchasing a pair of these woofers. They dropped right into place (screw holes and everything lined right up!) and the only real 'modification required involved changing out the connectors coming on the ends of the wires coming from the crossover. The original female connectors had a slightly wider width and would not seat properly on the new woofers' male connectors. Simple fix and had the speakers ready to play in practically no time... and they sound GREAT. The original fried egg Kloss tweeters sing like champs even after 20+ years in storage and the woofers sound tight, hit hard, don't seem to have any rattle, and produce truly good sound. Well worth the investment! You can't buy whole NEW speakers that sound THIS good for $240, that's for sure!

I had stashed my 1978 Advents in the garage after my teenage boys blew them out ten years ago. I finally got around to refinishing them and sending out the speaker cones for repair at Simply Speakers. ALAS, THE POST OFFICE LOST THEM! After a mourning period, I ordered the replacement cones and wow!...my babies were reborn, sounding just like the good old days. I sanded down and refinished the cabinets, re-skinned the grilles and they are just like new.

Bought 2 Factory Advent Speaker Woofer P001-31858 replacements after I discovered that the drivers on my circa 1976 Advent 4's had turned to dust while testing out a new Roland organ. Woofers arrived within a week and took only a few minutes to install. Screw holes lined up exactly and the tabs fit the crimp lugs perfectly. It took longer to glue on new Velcro tabs on the grill cloth than to install the drivers. Then I sat back and enjoyed that mellow Advent sound.
