Everything went fine and results exceeded expectations. Order process was easy, a short phone call clarified the proper kit, and delivery was fast. While generally a handy person, I was a bit leery of taking this project on, but it turned out to be as easy as the video showed it to be.

A DIY anyone can do
I wont be long on words but this repair kit was fairly easy to install. Just be careful with the adhesive. My "new" Advents sound like new.

FSK-10AD Repair Kit
regularly cruise craigslist for "steals and deals" I recently stumbled upon a vintage pair of "The Advent Loudspeaker" in good condition for $5.00!!! The fried egg tweeters both worked as they should. The woofers were another story. The foam surrounds were badly deteriorated. I found your site and called to make sure I ordered the right repair kit. I spent the next couple of days prepping the cones for their new life. The kit arrived in the mail yesterday and were installed toot-sweet. THESE SPEAKERS SOUND SWEETER THAN ANY SPEAKER I HAVE OWNED. I was going to flip them for quick cash but have decided to enjoy their warm melodies myself.....AHHHHH....LIFE IS SWEET. Thank you Simply Speakers
