The two woofers on my Cerwin-Vega D-7's have been shot for several years. After lengthy research, I decided to replace them with the W-1244's, which I've been considering for quite some time. The swap was easy, taking only about 10 minutes total. The sound is awesome, with a tight response. I don't take it easy on them, listening to some serious power metal at considerable volume. My only regret is waiting so long to put these in. Two thumbs up!

One of my Infinity SM122 subwoffer speakers went bad and since they were a perfect fit in my living room I could not give them up so I did a search and found these and after some emails back and forth making sure that they would/are the right ohm and after making the speaker hole bigger in the original speaker housing I have some very good "great" sounding replacement speakers.

I used this speaker as a replacement in an old Infinity BU-120 subwoofer cabinet.
Not a "direct" replacement as I had to use my router and a roundover bit around the lip of the mounting hole to accomodate a minor difference in the frame of the W-1244 from the original. Simple job however. Worked out Great.
This turned out to be an upgrade for this old mid line sub. A little tighter response than what I remember from the original.
