shipping was extremely prompt and the speaker seems to be a reasonable substitute for the woofer in a 30 year old baby Advent speaker. I did not want to hassle with looking for new old stock on ebay. i would shop hear again and explore their speaker refurbishment as well based on my experience so far.

Great speakers.
After buying a new set of speakers then returning them, I decided to just replace the woofers in my 35 year old speakers. These 6.5 inch woofers made my system sound better than the $300.00 speakers that I returned. The bass is clear and not muffled and the sound is crisp. Excellent speakers at a great price!

Great replacement for old Advent woofers
I had an old pair of Advents that I got in 1992. The foam edges rotted out and I needed to replace the woofers, so I tried Simply Speakers. Smart decision! I was unable to locate the original 7.5" woofs anywhere so I decided to go with the 6.5" and some universal adapters. Well it sounds wonderful and my son was able to install them in minutes! Thanks again for a great deal!

Perfect Replacment
I screwed up and blew out the woofer in one of my favorite speakers. Tom listened to my story and other information and recommended this one.
It fit perfectly and sound just as good as new. And a great price too.
