The 12" Sony Foam Speaker Repair Kit that I purchased was easily installed into the passive, resonator, bass speakers that I am using. I had to trim approximately 3/32" off of the outer flanges in order to properly seat the foam rubber surrounds into my speaker frameworks, but that was not at all difficult. I also chose to mount these new foam rubber surrounds just as the factory originally did - Under the speaker cone material, and it turned out superbly. The adhesive that was supplied with the kit worked really well, and there was an ample amount left over ( perhaps for next time ). As this was my very first speaker repair ever, I'd say that it turned out beautifully, and I would definitely recommend this product to anyone for their repair efforts.

The Foam Speaker Repair Kit worked just as advertised. After a little trimming, the foam fit perfectly restoring the speakers back to the original sound. Very Happy with this product would highly recommend it.
