My first attempt at doing a re-foam went perfectly thanks to great instructions and great products! I repaired Altec 9's with woofer and midrange re-foam and new dust caps on mids (one was damaged)New caps look great and the speakers are working perfectly! Also, for my fellow Canadians, I was pleasantly surprised when I received the package (took about a week for shipment) that there were no other charges (duty, brokerage fee, etc.) When you place your order, that's your total cost. From start to finish, I am really happy dealing with this company!

Perfect
I bought this cap to replace a new cap that came with a Jensen C10Q recone kit. The first cap made an unpleasant vibrating sound at low frequencies. It was just too thin for an unvented cap. The DC-1.75P-Flat cap worked perfectly--no negative effect on the sound quality of the speaker. Some think the caps don't effect sound. They shouldn't, but when they do, it's never a good thing.
