4.5" x 5" Advent Style Dome Tweeter, 1" Dome, P85C00019

Just received today and installed on my Large Advent Loudspeakers that I purchased in 1978. The sound is great! I had refoamed the woofers a few years back, but needed to replace a damaged tweeter. Wish I had done this when I repaired the woofers. The sound is so much better now. You do need to widen the hole for the tweeter and drill new holes for the screws, but not a big deal.

When replacing the woofer in one of my original 1972 Advents I noticed the tweeter dome was pushed in and decided that would not offer the optimum sound so I bought the recommended tweeter from Simply Speakers. Installation was not a snap since the original tweeter had a rectangular magnet in the back and the new one is round and did not quite fit into the hole so I had to carefully router out the top and bottom of the hole so the tweeter would fit. Finally I was ready to soldier the two internal wires and screw in the new tweeter (the holes were in the same place). I must say the result exceeds all expectations. I am sure the new tweeter is better than the old one. Sound is brighter and crisper which is good to my old crusty eardrums. The Advent now sounds better than new. Although not really needing it yet, I think I will buy the new woofer and tweeter for the other box as well - good job Simply Speakers!

These went into "The New Advent Loudspeaker". I had to use a rasp to make the original hole bigger and drill new holes. Not a big deal for me. The wires plugged on the new tweeter easily. They sound very good. I would recommend them as a replacement. I have purchased many items from Simply Speakers and all items have worked out! Very Happy!

Just installed the new tweeters to replace the "fried egg" tweeters in my '70s vintage powered advents. There is a noticeable improvement to the midrange without giving up the HF response. "The midrange is where we live" - Paul Klipsch.

I replaced two tweeeter of my Advent 5002 speakers using the Dome Tweeter of Simply Spekers. Great Product! Now my Advent sound is amazing and brillant! Awesome replacement. Needs slight modification to fit in NLA cabinet but not difficult to do.

This tweeter revived my vintage 1974 Advent Large speaker. The staff at SS were wonderful in helping me to successfully accomplish the replacement.

This tweeter appears to be the exact match. It really helped to bring my speakers back to life.

I have four (4) large Advents, and needed a new replacement tweeter. Made sense to do in a pair, and the SS tweeters sound much better than the original. (much better). clearer, and the high range is better. So, just ordered two more for the other pair of Advents.

This tweeter was ordered to replace a non-functioning one in a "25th Anniversary Model" Big Advent speaker. It fit with NO modifications needed whatsoever! It sounds every bit as good as the original (if not better!). I would highly recommend this tweeter to any Advent lover.
