Worked perfectly on my set of Mini Advents

Always nervous when ordering parts for things because the slightest difference in a name or model number means you end up ordering the wrong thing. But in this case they made it very clear that this was exactly the right repair kit for the set of Mini Advent indoor/outdoor speakers. Replacing the cones as directed was very simple and after a few weeks of use everything seems to be just fine. So grateful these were available -- I didn't want to have to toss these great little speakers!

Excellent Customer Experience!

I never refoamed speakers before, but these folks have thought the whole process through! From the beginning of me being able to find them easily by google search, to answering compatibility questions, tutorial videos and keeping me informed through whole order status and delivery, they nailed it! They should teach their system to other businesses dealing in the digital storefront realm...

Exact fit and easy to install

This was not my first SimplySpeakers re-foaming. Previously I re-foamed a pair of Cerwin Vega 12" woofers. As with the CVs, this re-foaming was just as easy. I took one additional step with the Advents. After applying the glue to the cone section of the foam, I clamped the foam outside edges to the frame before I applied pressure so they would stay perfectly centered. I used tiny spring clamps. It worked perfectly. I have pictures

Q: Hi. I would like to order the Advent Mini foam speaker repair kit FSK-5.25 but I was unsure how to measure. I measured on the outside diameter and it looks like 5 and 1/4. The serial numbers are 3025285177 and 3025285178. Would this be the correct kit? Thank you

Q: What is the edge sealer for?

A: The liquid sealer is a treatment to seal the new foam to prevent deterioration and prolong the life of the surrounds.

Q: I have a pair of ADVENT Mini's, diameter of cone is 3 7/8" inches ,metal framed . Outer edge of rubber surround looks to be 5 ". What kit do I order ? I couldn't find a kit this size ?
