Perfect to renew the foam surrounds of my RL 7000 Woofers. The angled lip is important. I would recommend the purchase of a roller bearing, ( mine cost about $10 ) to make a turntable. Also I used a nozzle reducing tube to control the flow rate of glue. A small light bowl to weigh down the foam to the cone ( 115 mm dia. works well ) Ikea 2 prong pegs ( 8 in packet ) to hold down the outer lip of foam to the basket. 1.5 volt AA ( reversed polarity ) will lift the surround clear of the basket to apply the glue. All in all very, very pleased with the results and the service from Simple Speakers.

Worked Great

Product worked great, quick shipping and installation was easy. It really helped to watch the video. Now the speakers sound GREAT! Be careful to have adequate ventilation when gluing or you'll get a buzz....

Restored my speakers to new

I bought 2 FSK-6.5 kits to replace the decayed foam surrounds on my 4 Bang & Olufsen 8480186 subwoofers. I was able to replace all four surrounds successfully and the speakers now perform like new. I’ve now got great bass again instead of distorted, rattling speakers and I saved myself over $1,000 dollars by not having to buy new speakers. This is the second set of speakers that SimplySpeakers has helped me save from the scrap heap and brought back to life again. Great products and great instructional videos!

easy to use!

IMPORTANT: Take your time, follow instructions and don't skip any steps! I was amazed how easy the videos made the refoaming. I watched the whole videos more than twice ane referred back to them for the centering adjusments. Their process just works.
