Simply Speakers was awesome and the videos were very helpful. They answered my questions quickly and gave guidance when needed. The installation was relatively easy and the results sound good. I will not hesitate to use Simply Speakers again.

I got the repair kit, and although it is a little harder than the instruction video, it is still quite simple to install. I put it on and let my speaker dry overnight. It now works like new. I am very happy with this part and the money it saved in not having to buy a new Sub Woofer.

This kit was just what I needed to repair my speaker. If you follow the directions(I would recommend the Simply Speakers YouTube offerings),perform the due diligence, and have a little patience, this kit make for an easy fix. Highly recommended for anyone whose speakers foam has failed.

After monkeying around with connections and receiver settings, I finally recognized the possibility that the horrible distortion I was getting from my subwoofer was the speaker itself. When I removed the grille I found the foam material around the speaker was shredded. To make a long story short, a visit to the Boston Acoustics website explained the nature of the problem and suggested several self-help actions, including visiting your website. I watched your video demonstration and placed my order. I had only modest hope that I could actually perform a successful repair and resolved that, if I failed, I'd just buy a new subwoofer. After the repair kit arrived, the first thing I found was that the speaker cannot be removed from the box ... or at least I couldn't get it to budge after removing what appeared to be mounting screws. So I went forward with in-place repair. You advised a chisel for scraping off the old adhesive, which was really good advice. I used a Swiss Army knife, which took the better part of a day-and-a-half. But once the old adhesive was as close to completely removed as my knees could stand, I went forward. I understood the mechanics of what I was trying to accomplish from the video, and it all went pretty well, though occasionally a little sloppily. When everything had set, I tested the speaker, and it performed like new. I have no idea what the future holds (did I mention that my work was sometimes sloppy?), but this has been a most rewarding experience. Your product is excellent, and the online support couldn't be better. Thank you.
