My first re-foam. Thank-you for giving me my boom back! This fit perfectly on my BA Micro90PVII sub with no possibility of rub. I called phone support 1st to ensure I was buying the right kit and they were VERY knowledgeable and helpful. I will be back for parts for my old AR's!!

Surround repair kit

I gotta say, for $19, it's like i have a new speaker. My boston acoustic sub had several tears in the surround. It realistically took me about 4 hours. to do, but I am happy with the results. the glue works great. Be CAREFUL though, if you want flawlessly beautiful results it is possible, but you must be sparing with the glue. I got a little too much on both and have visible excess, but the sub is down-firing so it doesn't matter. Sound is fantastic. I spent a lot of time removing the old surround and glue to get good adhesion. Be meticulous as I, and you will have a seemingly new speaker.

Boss man

It says 9 3/8" outer diameter but its 9 5/8" I have done so many foams and cones this will not stop me from making it look pretty. It will just make this take longer cutting into my profits. *don't remove dust caps and shim.I did this for so long but I know a good trick. After gluing the first side(depends on the basket but normally the cone side) use a 30Hz tone NON AMPLIFIED just line level to center the coil on the pole piece. Sves me SOOOOOO much time.

worked like a charm

I had a ripped 10" surround in my 14 year old Boston Acoustics VR-975s and thought I would have to completely replace them. With a little internet searching I came across Simply Speakers and their repair kits. I purchased this one and a few hours later my speakers were sounding good as new. Super easy install, highly recommended.

Enterprise Architect

This woofer repair kit was an exact match for the 10 inch driver in my Boston Acoustics subwoofer. The installation was pretty straightforward (you need to be detail oriented to clean all the old foam away but that's the hardest part). After installation, my subwoofer sounds as good (or better) than new. This is an excellent product.

The foam repair kit arrived quickly and was in perfect shape. Install was well documented and quite simple. Removing the old glue/foam residue required the most time. After using various solvents including acetone, MEK, paint thinner, and others they all removed some of the residue but not all. After many wipes accepted the result, removed probably 90% of it. Product well worth it, better, quicker, and easier than sending it in somewhere. Works great, got another 10 years from my subwoofer.

I live in South Africa and when my VR500 sub lost its surround I feared it was going out with the rubbish. However I found Simply Speakers on the Web and ordered this kit while on a business trip. Works like a dream and the VR500 sounds just like new. Easy fix too - done in a few hours including waiting for the glue to dry!
