SS Audio Recone Kit for 15" Cerwin Vega DXW15, DCW15, DX9, 4 Ohms, RK-CVDXW15

I was nervous about trying to do this myself so I watched the video several times and decided I was confident enough to try this. The cleaning was the hardest part after cleaning was completed I looked at my woofer frame and thought what have I done. So went back to video and watched it a few more times before I started to reassembled the woofer. I was nervous about the voice coil but it was so simple. Just follow the video or the instructions they provide and it worked perfect. I allowed the glues to cure or dry for 24 hours didn’t want to take a chance of glue not being dry. I did two of these and it worked great just make sure to line up voice coil covers as they will be seen when speaker covers are off and it looks so much better when they match. One more thing I would like to add if you don’t know how to soldier wires go to YouTube and research how to soldier they will teach you what’s the best and how to do it. Worked perfect for me . Also I must apologize for complaining about my shipment it was delayed for 8 days and I was mad everything was as described and the end product was great I now have friends that have speakers that need Reconed and feel confident thank you I should have took pictures of the process but didn’t I will do so in the future thank you simplyspeakers sincerely Richard
