Wow and Thanks
It had been close to a year since I last used my 25+ year old DBX Soundfield 2500 speakers. When I tried them out, they did not sound right. I removed one of the grills and discovered that the foam surrounding the woofer was falling out as the music played. I thought I would have to buy new speakers. I did a Google search for replacement drivers and found something better, replacement foam. The kit was affordable and came with great instructions that included a link to a YouTube video demonstrating the entire re-foaming process. Several hours after I received the package, my speakers sounded great again. Thanks for saving my speakers.

My repair
If your speaker still moves freely and you know how to follow basic instructions, this product works. This was the best thing I could have done to save money and my speakers work like new and look the same. I ordered to many, but maybe the others will be used in the future. Thank you for this product to purchase. I own a 03 E46 and this product cut my price less than half to fix/replace.

Repair kit arrived quickly and installation was easy. Speakers are as good as new. Can’t beat their prices.

Easy to use speaker repair kit. Worked very well. The only problem was the inner circles of surrounds were a little too large; it was a bit tricky to get them to seal up with the outer edge of the speaker cones.

Hey it works
My DBX subwoofers were disintegrating. Found this on the web. I was skeptical but the price was cheaper than new speakers. The procedure was straight forward. Most of the time consumed is waiting for the glue to dry to get to the next step. Be patient. But it worked! I've been using the repaired speakers about a month now and they sound great.

A very good product that works as described
This is the first time I've done any sort of work on a speaker aside from removing and replacing. Here are some things that helped me: Take the time to read the instructions and watch the videos a few times and figure out what you're doing. This project is not a rush job. I spread it out over three nights -- every time glue was applied, I let it sit until the next evening. An x-acto knife is very handy for scraping the old residue from the speaker cone. Paired with rubbing alcohol, the stuff comes right up after letting it soak for little bit. Have a stack of paper towels handy. The gooey residue likes to get everywhere if you're not careful. A table completely covered with newspapers is a good idea. all this being said, I wish I knew about this kit years ago when I paid what I realize now is way too much to have some JBL's rebuilt. I'd use this product again in a heartbeat next time it's needed.

The materials were easy to use and instructions were generally very good. The repair came out looking very professional. It should be emphasized that glue should be allied sparingly to the cone or only to the underside of the foam when attaching to the cone. Excess glue along the cone looks tacky and is unnecessary. I would recommend this kit.

Your service is great. The original shipment conformed to specs but did not fit the speakers. I appreciate your sending a better fit.

DBX Speakers
I recently moved and upon setting up my stereo in the new house, I noticed a buzzing sound coming from my DBX speakers. When I removed the speaker grill, I saw that the foam had disintegrated and thought the speakers were shot. In the process of looking for new speakers, I came across your website and decided to try refoaming the speakers myself. I figured that the price was certainly reasonable, and if it worked, I would end up saving the cost of buying new speakers, if it didn’t, I wouldn’t be out that much money. I’m happy to say that the speakers sound like new. Although the refoaming process wasn’t quite as simple as the guys make it look in the videos, it was still fairly easy, (and I actually did an underneath-the-cone mount rather than an on-top-of-the-cone mount). You just need to apply a little patience and mindfulness. My only regret was that I didn’t check the foam on my Boston Acoustic sub-woofer until after I fixed the DBX’s so had to place a second order for a foam kit for that one too. It turns out that refoaming the subwoofer was actually easier than doing the DBX’s. You guys make a good product and you ended up saving me a lot of money. Thanks
