Worked Perfectly

I recently discovered that all 4 12" Dynaudio Drivers in a pair of Duntech Sovereign speakers I bought 26 years ago had disintegrated. A friend sent me to Simply Speakers. I had some pre-sales questions which they promptly addressed over the phone. The surrounds were shipped and received fairly quickly. The online videos were very helpful in preparing me to do the replacements, which I had never done before. All the materials I needed were supplied (other than the rubbing alcohol which I already had at home). It was a tedious task removing the old ones, and as much of the residue as I could, but that's just the nature of the beast. When the first I installed didn't seem to move completely freely, I discovered that I had inadvertently had 2 of the surrounds stuck together. Another phone call to Simply Speakers gave me the answer as to how to remove them. I was able to accomplish this without damaging the surrounds, and could then install all 4 on the 4 drivers. With a reasonable attention to detail during installation, all 4 driver cones now moved effortlessly, without any friction. I reinstalled them in the speakers, and everything is back to normal. Excellent product, and excellent customer service in walking me through the initial purchase, and solving a problem that I had created.

DynAudio 11" Foam Speaker Repair Kit (30W100)

I recently refoam two of my three Dynaudio 30w100 woofers with this refoam kit. All dimension (outside diameter,inside diameter,etc.)fit perfectly with the genuine. I recomended highly! P.S. The glue dry very fast (approx.1 Min). You will need to work fast...

Engineer

Excellent fit for this repair. Plenty of glue provided. It takes some skill and I had to use laquer thinner to get the old glue off both areas. This takes about an hour to do each speaker. Get set up in a well ventilated area to avoid getting overwellmed by fumes.
