SS Audio Recone Kit for 15" EV 15L, 8 Ohms, RK-EV15L

Quick delivery and very straight forward install. My only qualm was that the first kit we ordered had the leads already attached in one piece. The subsequent kits had you solder a lead wire onto a separate set of small leads. This slowed down my tech's install a bit . Otherwise, great experience.

I use EV15L's in all my 15" cabinets. As of yet I haven't reconed with these kits I bought. But every detail feels and looks exactly like the original, not a "one kit fit's 5 speaker kit. Service and help from SS Audio was excellent and kits arrived very well packaged. Will definitely order some more of these as I buy a lot of 15Ls that are blown, because EV no longer makes them. I like keeping all my speakers the same and using only these will make sure that changing one will give me the exact same sound.

After reconing the 15" EV speakers in the EV SH-1502ER's, and replacing the melted crossovers as well as new diaphragms for the HF drivers, they sound like new. These poor old girls from the 80’s, probably got played to death and then left for dead in some guys garage. They were a rescue project, and you guys helped. I received by Kit in rapid time in perfect condition. Was able to recone my EV 15 speaker with the help of your video on youtube. Speaker sound and look good. I will be ordering another recone kit in the near future.
