8" Infinity Style Woofer for Reference 2, 3, RS-3001, 902-4592, others, W-850

I bought two of these to replace the blown out woofers in my 25 year old Infinity SM-85s, and they work great. Fit was perfect, the price was good, and they're actually made in the U.S., which is important to me. Overall, a fantastic experience. I order the INF-W-850 8" Infinity Style Woofer to get a pair of Infinity SS2003 speakers running again as the original woofers surround crumbled years ago and I must have disposed of the original woofers before knowing they could be re-coned. The driver fits the factory cut out without issue and sounds great. Can be pushed at decent volumes without much excursion.

Old Infinity reference floor speakers had woofer foam rot.. I thought I was out of luck.. Pulled the speakers & checked the serial number... Bingo! Exact match at Simply Speakers available at a reasonbale price point.. Fit perfectly & sound great! Simply Speakers is a great resource for replacements. The customer service is excellent. Those old speakers in the basement that you might assume are done, are just getting started. Get back to listening to music the way it was meant to be enjoyed:) Simply Speakers can help you get your audio system back to top standards.. The older speakers are worth restoring.
