This kit worked extremely well for me. Speakers are like new again. The most difficult part of this process is removing the old foam and glue. Stuff comes off like tar. I'm glad my cones were polly. I watched the YouTube video prior to ordering and though it was a great resource.

10" drivers for Infinity Reference Monitors

When Eric taps his foot in my "Clapton Unplugged" CD - my floor vibrates. With a speaker system that accurate you don't cut corners on repair. Sealed acoustic suspension speakers put major strain on foam surrounds and over decades of flexion the pliant foam disintegrates. The now unsupported voice coil sleeve scrapes against the magnet it surrounds and thoughts of repair costs loom. This was my second replacement after over 30 years and, thanks to excellent Simply Speakers videos on install, the repair is easier than ever. Absolutely no need to remove the dust caps. Once you set the surround loosely in place in the speaker frame and BOND the inner foam edge to the speaker cone edge, the annular ring (spider) at the base of the cone centers the coil perfectly. Pressing directly down on the cone confirms accurate centering of the coil.. Thanks to the far superior slower bonding cement, the outer edge is easily adjusted to maintain that perfect coil centering. EXCELLENT restoration!

This is actually the third time that I have purchased re-foaming kits for my very old, but still wonderful, Infinity speakers. Over time, the foam becomes brittle, and the powerful lows in some movies break it apart. The kits are very easy to use, the instructions are very good, and the results are outstanding! These kits are a great investment and a lot more economical than having the speakers professionally repaired (if you can even find someone who will do it!).

Repair kit for 10" woofers

I bought a 4 piece repair kit for my old 1973 RS-IIIa speakers as the cones were hanging on the magnets and in need of repair. The repair kit was a 2 day job to complete and worked still today after 9 years. I am DELIGHTED!!!

Amazing Sound

Simply Speakers are fantastic. The FS-K10 surrounds were easy to install following the instructions and videos. My Infinity RS-2A speakers sound like the day I got them . The bass response is fantastic. Many thanks to Simply Speakers I am back in audio heaven again.
