Infinity 15" Foam Speaker Repair Kit FSK-15A (PAIR)

This is a great kit. With your product I was able to resurrect my older but great sounding Infinity SM 150 Speakers. The rebuild takes a little work and patience but is well worth the effort. My SM150 Sound like new. I have two more sets of speakers to repair and I will be ordering again in the near future. Thanks.

Looking for exact replacement parts for very expensive speakers are hard, but these ones are great. Just wish that I would have ordered the dust covers too!

This is a perfect fit for my Infinity SM150 speakers. The repair was a little more difficult than shown in the video, but with a little patience, my SM150's sound great. In the repair video he uses a box cutter to remove the trim ring, which I first tried and found it to be difficult. I then used a heat gun to soften the adhesive on the ring and gently pry it off with a flat screwdriver. Much easier and quicker. The clean up of the old glue was much more difficult and time consuming than in the video. This was an inexpensive fix for 40+ year old speakers. I am very pleased. Thank you.

The Foam speaker repair went without too much trouble. I installed there on my 15" Infinity SM150. The factory Foams went on the back of the cone. The Simplyspeakers Foam kit glues on the front of the cone. You will not need to buy the edge kit as there is a sturdy plastic edge that comes with the Infinity speaker. The hardest part of this project is removing the old glue. It takes time. I used a hair dryer to soften the glue to remove the factory surround edge, that encounpases the speaker.

I purchased the 15" Infinity kit due to my sm152 woofer surrounds being destroyed from age. The new kit was easy to install and breathed new life into the speakers. Just watch the adheasive amount you put on amd be quick once the glue becomes tacky and you will be fine.

My Infinity SM 152 are working again! Because of the repaier I safed 2000$. Im very satisfied about that.

I was quite horrified when i removed my speaker covers to expose that the foam edge around my 15" woofer speaker had holes in them and when i touched the foam edge my finger went right through. First i thought someone had damaged it but when i checked the other three they were all the same. i've owned these speakers for over 25years but haven't had them hooked up for about 8 years. So it was quite a relief to find Simply Speakers and they had everything i needed to put my $3800.00+ speakers back in business because my other thought is there garbage and was planning on tossing them out. The kit came with everything i needed except scraping tools etc. I followed a few videos on the site and it went pretty much as described, The only thing i found i had to do was use more glue under the cone to foam edge in order to get the foam to seal all the way as it seemed not to make a good seal with just putting a single bead. So i turned the speaker over and ran an additional bead around the edge using the supplied brush to spread it under the foam and everything sealed up nice used supplied Foam Guard and speakers are back in business. Thank you. Good product, take your time its not a quick fix but the results are satisfying.
