Kit to repair Infinity speaker foam guard was correct and fairly easy to use (and I'm not necessarily a big do-it-yourself guy). Video was great help and gave me confidence to do this on my own.

Replacing the surround on these 3 inch drivers was actually a little more difficult IMHO than on a larger woofer simply because there was less room to more my fingers around the cone. Also the 3 inch drivers on the RS4000 have a sealed back so I couldn't reach behind the cone at any time. But with a little patience and working carefully, the surrounds came out well. Overall, replacing the surround is a great way to bring new life to vintage speakers. Best of all it's relatively inexpensive and easy to do.

Got this kit for my Infinity RS5000. Order went smoothly. Rings fit just the way they should, adhesive is effective and not too hard to use (and not to noxious either). Couldn't find a video that showed my midrange drivers but don't let that stop you from ordering, just watch some similar ones. Would buy from again.

I repaired my Infinity woofers years ago with the Simply Speakers kit and it turned out great so when my 3" tweeters went bad I ordered the kit to repair them. It was more difficult than the woofers were because there is less room to attach the foam and the backs of these speakers are closed so you have no access to the back area. Be patient and don't hurry. Follow the instructions carefully and you will be successful! My old Infinity speakers sound like new now.

This was my first time. I used a little too much glue the on the first speaker and left a few glue spots. The second speaker surround was much easier with a very clean result and looked like a new speaker. I will not hesitate to do this again if wth a Simply Speakers repair kit now that I am a pro... after only 2 speakers. Just as an improvement, the installation would have been much easier if the surround was about 3/16ths wider. Did not have much overlap to glue to basket.

Nice kit with good glue. This is my third infinity repair I have done and the glue in this kit was the best I have used. Good instructions and if you take your time you will get great results. Love my old infinity speakers, good for another 25 years.

Ordered the repair kit because I loved the mid range Infinity speaker. The kit was delivered very quickly. It took me a lot of time to remove the old surround and clean the speaker frame and cone but once that was done, installing the new suspension was relatively simple. Now my speakers are back in the enclosure and sound like new. Think I'll repair a few more speakers that I thought were goners. Thank You for saving my favorite speakers.

I replaced the foam edge on the mid-range speakers that I've owned for 29 years. They sound great. I had some issues and got amazing support from Sean and crew. This is the second time I've done this. I replaced the foam on the woofers about 10 years ago. You can trust these guys.

The foam fit the speaker very well, even though it is a Yamaha 3 inch speaker. The problem is that due to the small size of the speaker and the requirement that the foam be placed beneath the speaker cone, it is very difficult to get the foam located properly. Also, the quick-setting property of the adhesive, which in normally an advantage, turns into a disadvantage, because adhesive sets up before you can get the foam and the cone properly oriented to each other. 5 for fit, 3 for ease of installation..............................Response from Simply Speakers: Thanks for taking the time to review...and sorry to hear you struggled with the glue setup. These smaller surround kits can definitely be a bit more tricky than the larger kits.
