The most common problem with speakers are rotted, torn or damaged surrounds. The surround is the outer suspension part of the cone. Constant vibration, time and the environment cause foam and rubber surrounds to degrade. Cloth and paper surrounds can become brittle. This causes distortion and poor performance.

The instructions were clear, and the whole operation went well. The hardest part is removing the old foam completely. Gluing the new foam is easy. Afterward, the speakers sound as good as new.

This is my third purchase of foam surround speaker refoam kit from Simply Speakers and I have to say I was not disappointed. They came as promised and I also purchased the foam guard sealer. Easy to install although the Infinity RS-7b midranges were a little different to install, but I prevailed. The foam sealer was very easy to apply, even done a couple more speakers that I refoamed. Highly recommended! If I ever need to refoam again, I will use Simply Speakers. Plus, the support was great! Thanks guys!

Was not as easy as the video made it seem, it was quite messy, but I soon got the hang of it and made a nice job of it. I did 6 speakers in 2-3 hours, wouldn't hesitate to use again.

the speakers sound as go as new , and the glue worked well , also easy to assemble with the directions provided.My so is giving them a good test at collage with all kinds of music!

Infinity RS8's are Good as New

I purchased replacement foam surrounds for 4" and 6.5" speakers. I followed the directions, watched the videos, took my time, installed the new surrounds; and now my 30 year old Infinity RS8's are good as new.

Flawless!

I love my Infinity towers and I’ll never get rid of them. In my opinion, you can’t match the sound quality. As they age, Simply Speakers has been my “Go-To” fo replacement parts. A: The INF-FSK-4 is the correct kit for the midrange speaker in the SM112. If you need the woofer kit for the same model, please order kit # INF-FSK-10A.
