Infinity 5.25" Foam Speaker Repair Kit FSK-5.25 (PAIR)

Bought this speaker foam kit to repair my Infinity center channel. Instructions were included. Very easy to replace the foam. Would recommend these to anyone wanting to repair their own speakers. Shipping was very quick.

Just what I was looking for..!! The key to this is clean up..I did this with Lacquer thinner.then glue Foam to cone, let dry, glue Foam to frame let dry..assemble and JUST LIKE NEW...!! Just take your time..you can do it..its E Z ..Ps..shiping was like two days.. and Value was off the hook..replacements are over $100 for new..

I used the kit to restore an infinity center channel speaker with two woofers in it. While removing the old foam takes a bit of time, the new surrounds went on easily. When I removed the plastic retainer from the speaker, it was glued on and the retainer on both cracked. When re-assembling I simply pushed the ends tightly together and glued and clamped them so they could not move. Once the glue dried they were fine. I was patient on re-assembly and waited 1 hour each time before I went to the next stage. The instructions were clear and both woofers and the entire speaker assembly appears to be working like new!

I suddenly became aware my Home Theater Audio system had an awful distorted buzz to it: on inspection of each element, found my Infinity Kappa Video II to have the foam edge-surround ruptured. My first reaction was, "well that is gone, that's going to be costly replacement" I was fortunate in a search for replacement individual speaker elements for that module, to come across SimplySpeakers and that I could 'simply' repair them! At the low price, how could it not be worth trying? The kit came very promptly and I set to the repair almost as soon as retrieved from the mail.I was delighted to find the process was every bit as straight-forward as had been promoted. Result? Perfect sound once again! I would not hesitate to do this again with some of my older speakers; indeed may even do the others proactively! Great product, great price, fabulous solution.

Very simple and easy to do yourself , fit perfectly and it sounded great like brand new again . Why did I waited so long to do this and procrastinated almost bought a new one to replace it , I am so happy with the result . Thank you Simply Speaker .

Approximately 30 years ago (being a stereo addict) I purchased a rather expensive three-channel set of Infinity speakers. They are still some of the best I have ever heard. Unfortunately about a year ago the foam surround on the main woofers failed due to age though all else was fine. Luckily I managed to find Simply Speakers and purchased foam surround repair kits. They were surprisingly easy to install and the speakers were returned to their original superb sound quality. About a month ago the surrounds on the center channel RS Video cabinet also succumbed to age. Once again the repair kits from Simply Speakers restored the enclosure to full functionaliry. It was truly awesome to find an inexpensive but quality option rather than purchasing new speakers for the enclosures. Thank you Simply Speakers!!!

This kit did not fit my SM255 mid range without trimming the outer diameter of the foam. I had to trim about an 1/8 of an inch off. Once I did and glued the foam it fit perfectly. Just used a sharp set of scissors. The foam is very durable. Much better than original. Very strong. I would recommend this kit to anyone needing repair. Very easy. Sounds great.
