Cone: 15" accordion roll cloth edge, ribbed cone
Voice Coil: 4" edge-wound aluminum wire, 4 ohms, Re: 3 ohms
Spider: 7.125" flat
Dust Cap: 4.375" paper
Gasket: 15" rubberized (4 section)
Recone kits include centering shim, instructions, and high power lead-wire

Replacement for JBL C4R2226
All recone kits are designed to meet or exceed the original specifications
Please order adhesives separately if you need them. See Repair Adhesives

A: Yes, this kit will fit the 8 ohm frame version of the JBL 2226HPL.

A: Sorry, no. This recone kit only fits the JBL 2226G models.

Q: I want to recycle some old JBL2225h's with cone damage. I would also like a 4 ohm coil on them. Can the RK-JBL2226-4 work as a subtitute for a JBL2225 basket and magnet?

A: Sorry, the 2226 kits will not fit the 2225 series frames as the voice coil windings are too wide. We carry the 2225 kits, but only in 8 and 16 ohms.

Q: IS this the kit to fit the 1500GTi car woofer?

A: This is a "pro" kit and it will fit the 1500GTI, but is not the same as a 1500GTI. Since the 1500GTI has been discontinued for several years, this is the best option we have. Thanks!
