Replacement for JBL D8R2418, and JBL D8R2418-1
Voice coil: 1-3/4" (45mm)
Diameter: 3" (75mm)
Length: 5.125" (130mm)
Impedance: 8 ohm, DCR: 4 ohm
Titanium dome with copper voice coil on Kapton former just like the original JBL
SS Audio diaphragm uses .205 tabs for both + and - connections (original uses a .250 tab for + connection)
Please check your model before ordering to make sure you are getting the correct diaphragm.

No problem doing replacement in a JBL Eon G2. Instructional video was useful, and it was pretty obvious on how to open up the cabinet. Customer service is responsive and knowledgeable at Simply Speakers each time I've called. I'll be back!

Installed easily and quickly as per the helpful video. Tested a-ok. Haven't put it through its paces yet. Only drawback to the aftermarket diaphragm is the positive lug is not over-sized as on the original so you have to change the connector on the speaker lead. No big deal.

The screw holes must be poked through by the customer. Take care doing this. Sound is JBL like.
