Q: how do you connect these to your speaker wires to the jbl speaker connections in the back of the speaker?

A: There are spade connections inside the cabinet. The new binding posts will work with the existing connectors. On some versions, you may need to replace the screw with new 6/32 screws.

Q: I have JBL 88 Plus speakers from 1972. The red and black post caps are gone from the posts. I would rather NOT replace the entire post with these. Will the caps from your item fit over my existing posts?

Q: I'm wanting to replace the terminals on my 1974 JBL L26 decade speakers. My originals are a spring tension held by a screw. My only concern is that, looking at the photo, the (part number)JBL-RBPOST the screw might extend into the hole where the speaker wire goes. Is that a concern?

A: These do not come with screws. They use an off the shelf 6/32 threaded screw.

If the screws you have are too long, you can easily change them to a shorter screw if needed.
