Wonderful Find!

After going back and forth with the vendor that we purchased the original speaker from, the price quoted by them was not only twice the amount as Simply Speakers, they told us it would take weeks to get the replacement, and this was from the salesperson. The parts department didn't reach out for several days. By the time they even called us back to confirm what was needed, Simply Speakers had already shipped the replacement to us. Needless to say, we won't be dealing with our vendor again when we need a replacement part. You guys are the best! Thank you.

Great to do business with!

This is the 2nd time I've ordered JBL speakers from SimplySpeakers.com. Both experiences were excellent - if you're a customer of theirs, you already know! These genuine JBL M115-8A woofers are used in a lot of the single and dual JBL columns that also have a horn for higher freq. I own a music & PA business and also do audio repair. My son is a DJ. My son and his associate did a wedding at a beach. They had their own equipment, had to mix the reception from >100 feet away, could not face the speaker columns towards themselves and breaking waves muffled the sound. The QSC RMX 4050 they use puts out 1400W per side but the columns are only rated for ~1000 W per. Yep. They kept cranking the low end until all 4 of the 15" JBL speakers were toast! These genuine OEM replacements went in with very little trouble and the columns are back to sounding perfect!

Great!

Great!….they arrived unscathed and fast,…the bass is a little mid rangy but I’m sure that’s due to being brand new, after a while it will break in and have a lower frequency response. The horns were easy to install and work like they are supposed to. Referred some other people and will order from Simply Speakers in future absolutely.

Excellent Knowledgeable Service

Needed a replacement speaker for my JBL TR125-Sean knew exactly what speaker I needed-sent it to me quickly and worked perfectly (thanks Sean)didn’t cost much more the used one on eBay-Highly Recommend Simply Speaker

Q: How does this compare to a K140?

A: The M115-8A is a completely different design. The K140 is a musical instrument speaker with an extended range. The M115-8A is a low frequency PA speaker suitable for sound reinforcement applications.

A: Sorry, no. This is a pro audio woofer. For the 036A, we recommend our foam edge replacement kit. Part # FSK-15JBL.

A: If you purchase the replacement woofer, you do not need a repair kit. FYI, the M115-8 woofer is a cloth surround design (not foam). Thanks!

Q: I need to replace woofer in JBL JRX125 this looks like it would be the right one. this says 8 ohms but thought they were 4ohm speakers. I don't totally understand these things, so wanted to make sure I order the correct one? Thank you!

Q: I'm a recording engineer and have use my L-300's since 1974 These woofers wouldn't be appropriate/accurate as a replacement for the L-300's would they?

A: No. These woofers are not suitable replacements for the L-300. We stock the repair kits for the original L-300 woofers so we suggest going with the repair kits if they need service.
