Hey ya'll. I bought these surrounds for a set of KG5.5 speakers. There are a few things i'd like to write about as a warning for others wishing to undertake this operation. The KG5.5 woofer has a plastic gasket that covers the surround around the rim. It is THOROUGHLY glued to the speaker basket and I had to use serious force to BREAK it off. Klipsch does NOT offer replacements for this piece, so do your best not to completely ruin it. After I got it off, there was still a great deal of plastic still glued to the speaker basket rim and I had to use power tools to grind the plastic out in order to get to the raw metal beneath for a secure glue job. This was a lot more work than normal speaker refoam experiences of my past. Additionally, the surround foam fit a little funny. the foam rested on the outer rim, but did not quite reach the cone, so I had to hold it down more acutely than other refoam jobs. all in all, it ended up working, but I had my doubts during the process!
