Easier than I thought. A bit messy with the glue but practice would make a difference. I tried both methods, glue on top and bottom of cone. Easier to glue on top but much better centering the coil by gluing under the cone. I also used a label remover called "ATTACK" which worked better than Alcohol to remove old material from the speaker,but you need to use the Alcohol to remove the Attack so that the glue will stick.

I ordered this item before I bought new speakers. I was surprised that they came as fast as they did. When I got the time one evening I sat down and installed them. I had watched the you tube video and read the instructions and it all worked out great. I highly recommend these before buying new speakers.

Very pleased from beginning to end with this product. It was shipped promptly and securely. The video instructions were thorough and easy to follow. Replaced the surrounds on my Optimus Mach 3's in 2 days (due to other responsibilities) and I am extremely pleased with the sound. To think I was going to just sell them at a yard sale for $20 !! Since replacing the surrounds, I now keep an eye open for other quality speakers for sale in need of surrounds to be replaced. I will definitely be a lifetime customer!

These foam replacements are AWESOME! The instruction videos are great - just follow them and you can restore these speakers very easily- The rubbing alcohol tip in video - absolute best! My speakers are brand new again!

Q: can new speaker foam be installed on front of cone instead of on the back as they are originally? (Mach Two 15" woofer)

A: You can install on the back of the cone like the original (harder) or the front (easier). We have videos showing both options on our YouTube page.

A: Sorry, no. Please remove and re-use the original gaskets when you perform the repairs. The replacement gaskets sold in this size are too thick for your model.
