Does not include rear gasket

Foam plug behind dome to reduce unwanted ringing and resonance

This is a direct copy of the famous 035Tia titanium dome tweeter used by JBL in several popular home and pro studio monitors for over 20 years. Also replaces the older version 035Ti which had the terminals 180 degrees apart. Also replaces the 037Ti and 052Ti. This tweeter offers precise response, high efficiency and that great JBL sound!

Very Pleased

The tweeters arrived promptly, were nearly identical to and indistinguishable from the blown tweeters I removed, and the price was excellent. So overall I am very pleased. This was my second order from SS, and shipping time, etc. were excellent on both occasions. I will most definitely return to SS for future speaker repair needs.

The replacement dome tweeters ordered to rebuild a pair of JBL 4312 monitors were an exact mechanical fit and electrically perform as the originals. The speakers are back in service. Great service and timely delivery from Simply Speakers.

I have purchased 4 of these tweeters so far. The tweeters have always been the weak point. The repair kits and the tweeters are no longer available from JBL but these are a great choice. They sound excellent and put the highs back into play. I have 4 vintage L7 tower speakers which I still use in my Living room system and some L100ti and 4412a in my collection. You can buy these old speakers really cheap with blown tweeters and an easy change out will bring them back to their original glory. It is hard to find finer speakers these days.

This was a good purchase experience. Prompt delivery, well-packaged and the item was exactly as described. My only niggling concern is if the speaker is just a tiny bit too bright compared to the OEM on the other speaker. Still, I am pleased with my purchase...............................Response from Simply Speakers: Thanks for the review! On most JBL models, you can dial the tweeter in or out as much as needed. Try adjusting the control settings to see if that helps them be more balanced.

Great replacement for the blown 035-TIs in my 4406s. I was going to replace the punched grilles with the screens from my originals, but turns out I like the look of the Chinese grilles better. Go figure. I can’t A/B them, but I discern no sonic difference between these and the original JBLs. Perfect fit, great cosmetics, etc. I’m glad I went this way, rather than fighting and scrounging to restore my original tweeters.

The T-035T sounds fabulous. The original JBL driver's connectors were on opposite sides of the driver, the replacement had them about about 45 degrees apart so I had to modify the cabinet to get it to fit in, byt alas, all is well and they sound good as new.

Very pleased

Speakers arrived ahead of schedule excelent packaging. Not distinguishable from oem sound great! Simply speakers has made it possible for me to bring several pairs of vintage speakers back to life. This is my fourth order and i am sure there will many more!

A: We have not used the T-035Tia tweeter for your JBL model, so please double check the hole cut-out size and impedance from your original tweeter if you are considering this option.

A: The JBL L150 uses the 033 tweeter while the L150A and L150B use the 044 tweeter. Our T-035Tia could be used as a last resort option, but the cabinet holes must be modified to fit the new tweeter. No crossover mods are required and you have complete control of the tweeter output level using the L-pad controls if needed.

A: The 035Tia is a last resort option for the JBL 044 tweeter. It will work with the crossover, but you must make an adapter plate to fit the new tweeter in the cabinet.

A: These should drop right in, but if you have the older JBL 035Ti tweeter, the terminals are 180 degrees apart so you would need to create a notch to allow the new tweeter terminals to clear the opening.

A: Our tweeter will work in your JBL model, but using it would require modifying the cabinet and / or screw holes as it will not line up with the original tweeter mounting scheme.

A: Yes, and in this case, do both left and right units to match. We do not have an alternative 044 unfortunately.
