Well made tweeter

Bought these for my polk towers. They don't just drop in so keep that in mind. A little work to make them fit. The screw pattern is a little different also. Other than not just dropping in these are great tweeters.

Product is a very match by all account. Holes in mount plate are spot on. Magnet same size original. replacement product is labelled as 8 OHM. I don't know if there was an 8 Ohm variant available in the original, My Miller Kreisel SB1 Satellite speaker were rated at 4 OHM, but moving to a higher resistance should not be an issue.

Sounds good but...

If it's just sound, ok. But for restoration not good. Silk dome is white not black. Plate is shiny gloss black original is flat black, and it just has to have the wonderful made in China in your face. Would pay more for a real copy..........................Reply from Simply Speakers: Thanks for the review. We have a great track record with this tweeter, especially considering the price point. Saved my old Polks

Great tweeters that saved my old POLK speakers. I did have to cut a little bigger hole in the cabinets because the connection tabs are in a different spot. Not a big deal. They sound great again!

Replacement for Polk Monitor 10’s

These sound great and for the most part fit ok. I had to modify the cut out in some Polk Monitor 10’s for these to fit. These are a great product but are not drop ins for this particular speaker.I recommend but be prepared to completely disassembled the speakers and get out your jig saw and mortis bits.

Perfect fit tweeter

The tweeter replacement was a perfect fit and very simple to install. I’m very happy that I can enjoy the sound from my vintage speakers that I have owned since 1980!

Replacement tweeters

Perfect for my old Fisher xp 9b’s. The tweeter hole was quite big and these covered it perfectly and sound great!

A: Sorry, there is no diaphragm (coil) assembly for this tweeter model.

A: Yes, these are compatible with the original OEM Peerless tweeter used in the Bozak DMS-5500.

A: Yes, but keep in mind that some ADS versions may require you to modify the hole cut-out in the cabinet to accommodate the new tweeter terminals.

Q: Will this replace the Mcintosh 1-1/2" Dome 036-055 or 036-016 effectively? I saw in the spec sheet the base is about 10mm longer so new holes may need to be drilled

A: Your McIntosh part number is a midrange and this unit is a tweeter. While you may be able to mount these in place of the original McIntosh units, they will not be very well suited for use in a midrange application.

Q: Hi! I have a vintage 3-way Audio Technica DA-30 speaker system that I purchased in the late 1970's. It is comprised of 2, DA-20 satellite speakers and a separate DA-20LF woofer. I am looking to refurbish the system and replace some of the parts. In looking at your list of speakers that these tweeters are supposed to fit, the DA-20's were not listed. These Peerless Style tweeters look identical to what is installed on my speakers. Do you know if they will fit the DA-20's and if they have specs compatible with the originals? Please advise. Thank you so much! David
