Installed the Piezo Horn Tweeter T-1005. It was a great replacement for the original tweeter in my RTR 280 speakers. The install was easy and the service from simplyspeakers was great. Looking forward to ordering 6 10 inch woofers to complete the rebuidling of the RTR's. Ed Johnson.

Roland PM-100

I have the above amp and blew 3 tweeters on higher volume. I wondered about installing a more powerful tweeter. Couldn't get any advice at all so I went ahead and ordered the T-1005. I had to modify the cabinet to install it but BINGO! The amp works fine and better than it ever was!! Roland take note!

Pizo Tweeters

Great high pitch tweeters. Overhauled my BIC 6 Vintage (1978) speakers. Used these guys and all is sounding the best.

Q: does the above horn tweeter require capacitor crossovers? if so what value uF? Will they be more efficient with a crossover? Or will crossover reduce response?

A: These units do not require a crossover, but work better with one and are have better protection than without one. We recommend a 4.7uF cap.

A: Parallel, 75 watts each added together for total power handling.

A: These have a sensitivity of 94dB per one watt of input so yes, they are considered "loud"

Q: What is the recommended capacitor for this item ?

A: Normally, these are run without capacitors. If you prefer to use them, we recommend a 3.3 uF to 4.7 uF.
