Q: What is the material on these tweeters?
A: These tweeters feature a paper cone and a steel housing.
Q: The current hole size of the old tweeter in the speaker I am replacing the tweeter in is 3 and 1/4 inches in diameter. Will this tweeter fit that? If not, what size would the hole need to be>? thanks!
A: The T-105 tweeter requires a 3" hole cut-out. Since the faceplate size is 4" diameter, the 3.25" hole cut out will also work fine.
Q: Will they fit Altec 886b cutout?
A: Sorry, no. Your model has a 2.75" cut-out and the T-105 requires a 3" cut-out. You can enlarge the hole in the cabinet, or take a look at our T-123 tweeter as a substitute.
Q: This appears to fit my son's Pioneer speaker, CS-G105. 4" diameter on plastic flange, 8 ohms, about 3" width below the flange. Correct?
Please advise - thanks.
A: Yes, correct. This is the best match we have for your particular Pioneer model.
Q: Are these the tweeter speakers for an Technics sb7000a?
A: Sorry, no. However, you may be able to replace the original tweeters with the T-105, if the dimensions and impedance match the originals.
Q: Will this replace a 2" Super Tweeter on an old Ultralinear 200 Series speaker I am trying to inexpensively refurbish? The hole cut-out required and the frame diameter dimensions seem to work.
A: Check dimensions of old part first, but yes, this tweeter will be compatible with Ultralinear speaker systems.
Q: My hole cutout is 2.875", Will this speaker work for me? Also, what is the distance between the mounting holes as measured diagonally across the speaker? Thank you.
A: This unit requires a 3" cut out. Hole to hole diagonally is 3.5" center to center.
