Great option for a tweeter replacement on circa 1990's Infinity Reference Three models - picked up a pair at an estate sale & found one tweeter shot - shotgunned a T-145 into it, hard to tell the difference between it and the original Polycell in the other Reference Three. Will likely buy another T-145 in order to have a matched set.

Quality tweeter

Used this tweeter to replace a failed tweet in an older infinity 3-way cabinet. Tweeter fit in original hole and sounds Identically to original.

Tweeters arrived quicker than expected. Only issue was, we had to enlarge the hole for the tweeters, no big deal. Sound is great.

Good replacement

Used these to replace the blown tweeter on older Infinity 3 speakers. They fit perfectly and the speaker now sounds as it should. They are rated for less power than the original but I don't foresee that as a problem. Very happy with the results.

Q: I've noticed that in the pic for the above tweeter there are 2 views I'm looking for the identical match for my sm100's the polycell Hi output are the same, is there a difference?

A: The T-145 will replace the SM100 tweeters, but are not the original part. The Polycell tweeters are no longer manufactured.

A: The new tweeters are 6 ohms DCR which is compatible with your original 8 ohm tweeters. There will be no modification to the crossover required. As long as the dimensions and style of the new tweeter is similar in design, they will make a great replacement.

A: We prefer the T-520 for both of these Vega these models. The T-145 would work, but uses a smaller dome and less output.
