4.5" Horn Loaded Silk Dome Tweeter T-520

Well pleased with the T520 silk domes. Sound is smooth and pleasant without being harsh. I bought them because my Cerwin Vega MX400's tweeters were just too "tinny" sounding causing me to run the treble response -6 db. I wrote Cerwin once and asked if they could recommend a replacement tweeter for those speakers and their response basically was "you can't get a better speaker than ours". So much for their customer service. So far well pleased with these domes.

These tweeters are just as good or even better than the originals , i installed these in Cerwin Vegas E-712 Model

This is the replacement for EV Sentry 100A Tweeters which expired after 20 years of dedicated performance. It sounds as good as the one it replaced though not as transparent. Taking the low price into consideration I am very please with the purchase.

I have owned a pair of EV Sentry 100A Studio Monitors for about 20 years. In the last 2 years both tweeters have blown. I was unable to find replacements, until I saw on the internet, that these could replace my missing tweeters. I took the chance and bought them. They did not fit the space for the missing tweeters exactly, and so there is a moon shaped space about 1/4" wide around 1/3rd the circumferance of the opening. I am not a hi-fi buff any more to be able to comment on the erits of the sound. All I can say is that the sound is fine.

I recently set up to my existing speaker system a new home theater receiver which made the speakers system sound great but the tweeters sounded distorted. I have now replace all 5 tweeters with the T-520's and what a huge differance, I can now hear all those tinkly sounds that I had never heard before, music and movies now have that extra punch. Excellent tweeters for the price.

I purchased these tweeters to replace the tweeters in a set of Wharfedale W60E's. I chose them mostly because of their size. They fit right in, and I didn't have to modify the opening any to get them in. They sound like tweeters, and the price was right.

I bought these as replacement for tweeters in Jensen 500's I've had for forty years. They dropped right into place without any alteration. The sound is very good and I would buy them again. Also, they were delivered even sooner than promised.

The OEM DT-5 tweeter stop playing on one of my Cerwin Vega AT-12 speakers. It had a open coil circuit. Being there are not available, I started looking for an alternative. I chose the horn loaded silk dome tweeter from Simply Speakers. The price was very reasonable, the screw holts lined up good, he had a nice look. It is 4 ohm where the OEM driver was 8 ohm. I found the OEM tweeters to be a bit dull. These tweeters have a little more brightness but not too bright or tinny. I would recommend them if you are seeking a good quality reasonable priced HF driver.
