This woofer was a perfect drop in for my 500Watts PSW-1 from Cambridge Soundworks. I didn’t like it at first and I email customer service about a return but they wrote: “You might want give the new speaker a little time as all new speakers sound better after several hours of use since they “break in” and bass response, etc. becomes much better.” And it sure did I’m very happy with this woofer the price and customer service. Thanks

W-12PC-8 12" Poly Mica Cone 8 Ohm Heavy Duty Woofer rocks. I bought one to swap into my Cerwin Vega D-5s while I reconed the factory woofers. I am not going to recone my factory woofers. I am going to throw my factory D-5 woofers in the trash and buy another W-12PC-8. Replacement woofer is far heavier and sound is far superior. After I swapped the W-12PC-8 into my blown D-5 I could not listen to my stereo anymore because my "good" D-5 sounded like junk running with the W-12PC-8 woofer D-5. My D-5s are 33 years old so there may be a deterioration factor in my assessment, but I am sold on these W-12PC-8 woofers for D-5 upgrades.

Replaced oem woofers in Sansui 12" 3way speaker systems. They had very bad foam rotted surrounds so rather than repairing them I replaced both woofers with these. The speaker openings in the cabinets had to be enlarged about 1/4" all around for proper fit. It was well worth the effort. These speakers are far superior to the originals. Much deeper and tighter bass. I am very pleased with the new over-all sound improvement of my speaker systems. Received my speakers very quickly from Simply Speakers and will use them again when the need arises.

W-12PC-8

these were purchased as replacements for my Cerwin Vega 12" 8 ohm 500 watt speakers...i think it was for the AT-12 Cerwin cabinet- and i had to enlarge the holes to fit the woofers in, but they then screwed in tightly. They sound great, handle bass as well as Cerwins. I recommend them and would always do repeat business with Simply Speakers!

Purchased the 12" Heavy Duty Woofer, Poly Mica Cone, 8 Ohm, W-12PC-8. The speaker arrived on time and was extremely well packaged. As far as performance, it's excellent, much better than the speaker it replaced. Still breaking it in and it continues to improve. Crew at Simply Speakers was very helpful. Very happy with purchase.

Works as advertised. I’m glad I read lots of reviews. Initially the speaker was very weak and buzzy like I read about. But after hours of use it really became strong. Now I can run this heavy duty speaker much louder that the old speaker I damaged. I put the heavy duty 12” into a regular cabinet hole. I had to increase the cabinet hole 1/16” all around. . No big deal. I hope to do lots of drywall damage soon. :)

12-in heavy duty woofer

i installed this bad boy. and plug them in my amp and cranked up the tunes. better than the org that came with the cabinets.more deeper bass. and bigger magnet.for a better driving sound!!!!!!!! thank you and delivery was great and on a timely manner.

Q: Will this woofer fix to Speaker box technics SB-X700.Does it match to Sansui amps AU-9900A ?

A: We do not recommend this woofer as you must modify the cabinet to fit it. Your best bet is our refoaming kit part # FSK-12F to replace the surrounds on the original woofers.
