I recently picked up an old pair of EPI-100W speakers for 9$. These are vintage ~1975 speakers. The foam around both 8" woofers was completely shot. I asked Simply Speakers for a woofer replacement recommendation. They suggested the W-208-4. I ordered a pair. I couldn't believe how quickly they arrived (<5 days from order date). The new woofers fit perfectly and the sound quality is nothing short of outstanding! I look forward to working with Simply Speakers in the future.

Wonderful. I was in a pinch and need this item ASAP because I had a small gig days away. The St. Pete store priority shipped it and I had in in less than 24 hours. The sound was so much better than I had hoped for. I love the new improved sound and amazing service I highly and happily recommend it.

Good deal

I bought a pair of these to replace my ancient woofers in my Advent prodigy 2's. Have to say the sound quality is great and saved about $50+ instead of direct replacements, besides being very difficult to find. I dropped 1 star only because the hole alignment was off and the ring at the edge of the speaker wasn't aligned with the holes very well. Overall great sound for a good price.

Infinity rs4000

I put one of these into a Rs4000 to replace a dead OEM woofer, sounds great! fitment was a bit small but I was able to put a few new holes into the Cabinet with no issue.

Great sounding replacement speakers. Working perfectly. Only small problem is that the holes in speaker did not align perfectly with original. Hole alignment not a game changer, but does account for loss of one star. Back to loving my old Realistic speakers again.

Q: Will these work for Boston Acoustic A70?

A: Yes, as long as they are series 1. The series 2 uses a larger frame flange so these woofers do not fit. If you have the series 2, please order woofer part # W-875.
