10" Woofer, Laminated Cone, 8 Ohm, W-210-8

These woofers sound great as replacements for the originals in some old speakers that my dad and I pieced together from some even older speakers back in the 70's. However, what I am most impressed with is Simply Speakers' willingness to go back and forth with me by email to figure out exactly what I needed to do. After watching their excellent video on how to repair my woofers, I was about to buy one of two repair kits, but after I sent a photo, they identified that neither kit would work for my repairs, and that the only option was replacement -- which saved me buying a repair kit or two, as well as a lot of time and frustration. Taking this time to answer my rookie questions, even though I was obviously not going to be a high-dollar customer, really impressed me. I don't think many places manage to carry the "mom & pop" (good) customer service ideals over into the online marketplace. I buy things online now and then, mainly through Amazon, but I have never taken the time to write a review before, if that tells you anything.

I ordered these speakers for some old 1980 Sonic speakers I've had. They fit perfectly and sound good. Selection, service and shipping were awesome!

Pretty smooth bass

The final speaker in my upgrades consisting of the 5.75" Midrange, Cerwin Vega Style and the Silk Dome Tweeter T-510. Well worth the costs and now my speakers can handle lots of power. The woofer took about a week to burn in and now it sounds really great. Nice deep lows and very efficient!

I was restoring a pair of high-quality DBX speakers in which the acoustic suspension rings of the woofers had disintegrated with age. All the other components in the speaker cabinets were in fine condition and so the speaker systems were well worth the effort to rehabilitate. These woofers (there were four of them) have been perfect (exact) replacements.They now share the signal delivered by a 250 watt amplifier and the sound is beautiful. When and if I ever work on or construct any other speaker systems SIMPLY SPEAKERS will be my first resource for components.

My old 720 Mission speakers sound like new again

I have 50 year old MCS 3 way bass reflex floor speakers that weigh about 30 lbs. each. Of the three speakers in each cabinet, the bass reflex speakers were blown out. I emailed the specs to Simply Speakers and the W-210-8 was recommened. Installed the speakers and they now work beautifully. Installation was easy, everything fit the original openings and screw holes. No drilling. I don't think you can beat the full sound of a large, heavy floor speaker. Thank you simply Speakers.
