8" Woofer, Poly Mica Cone, 8 Ohm, W-8028

bought these as replacements for my advent heritage speakers. no patience for refoaming the new speakers sound great would do all over again. sold old advents on craigslist for $100 made out ok on final price fast shipping with good protection.

I installed these woofers on my JBL LX 500. The woofers sound very good. I always love the sound of these speakers. Then the woofers went and it was not the foam surrounds. For the price of the woofers it was well worth it. Sounds like new again.

After almost 25 years my adverts rock like they are brand new. Thanks again!

this worked great as a repair to revive an older set of Cambridge Soundworks speakers - revived what otherwise would have been a throwaway/giveaway and much more expensive to replace. communication with the company was great, shipping was prompt (though pricey - a heavy package)

These are pretty decent speakers for the money. For my old Fisher 102's they are good replacements, a little better bass with some recordings, not so much different with others. Overall,a pretty good choice. I wired them in with the old crossovers and I was done in less than an hour with both. Thanks Simply Speakers!

Bought the refoam kit for BA A-70. Did not get it centered. Bought these which were a little smaller. The A-70 speakers are apparently unavailable. So built a wood ring to fit inside cabinet and hold these woofers. Worked great. Sound is very good. They are now front speakers on TV through a Denon receiver. I know I could have had the A70s refoamed. Since I don't need them I may send them to you. Maybe someone could use them.

I purchased these to replace woofers in some 25-30 year old Cerwin-Vega AT-8's my brother was going to trash, cabinets were still in decent shape so I figured WTH. They sound pretty nice now, I'm a realist, I wasn't expecting these to become some high end studio monitors but they work just fine for music in the garage pushed by a 30 year old JVC receiver. :-D

I ordered the speakers and was very pleased that they arrived so quickly. The problem is they were sold as replacements for the AR TSR2 speakers, but were deeper than the originals which required me to modify the enclosure in order for the speakers to fit. I had to remove the speaker connections and crossover and fabricate washers that would move the connections to make room for the magnets on the speakers, then figure out an adhesive that would seal the cabinet with the modifications. Once that was done the speakers actually perform very well. I'm not sure the average customer would know how to make the modifications to use your replacements.

Daughter wanted stereo for her dorm. These woofers brought my AR's back to life! Paired with my SAE equipment, my daughter was impressed with the "Vintage" sound. Thanks for having the proper speakers and the prompt delivery!
