Replacement Woofers

I used these speakers to replace the woofers in my Allison Six speakers from the 1980s that were in really bad shape. They fit perfectly and sound great. Delivery was fast and the price was reasonable. It was a good decision to replace my old speakers and not purchase new bookshelf speakers.

Reasonable replacement in Advent P2 tower

Perfect fit into existing speaker hole in Advent Prodigy Tower 2. I am very picky but to me these W-850s are not quite as sweet as the original Advent speakers but they are good enough. A little sharp on the high end but very good, clear and realistic mid-range and bass. Superior to a genuine 8" Acoustic Research speaker that I tried in the same cabinet a few weeks ago. Would recommend for Advent owners if their refoaming effort is disappointing. Speaker arrived promptly and very well packaged.

I am a novice, but knew that my inherited Allison 4"s didn't sound as they should. The online help was quick to reply and to the point. Great customer service. Prompt delivery. Didn't even laugh when I said there were 4 places to connect the woofer for the 2 existing wires.
