Rockford Fosgate 10" Foam Speaker Repair Kit FSK-10 ROCKFORD (PAIR)

this is the third time receiving this foam repairs product from this company, the quality is great. i would recommend this to anyone.

I have two old school Rockford Fosgate Punch HE2 3210 subs that were ratty and weathered. I tentatively ordered this kit to re-foam them. I was scared to ruin them, but thought I was loosing nothing if I did. I followed the instructions and watched the videos and prep an application was as easy as falling off a log! The old school Fosgate's hit harder, louder and lower than anything else I have ever gotten my hands on. I am so thrilled that they have been brought back to life! Thank you so much Simply Speakers. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who has speakers that need a second chance at life! Absolutely incredible!

Fit great 2nd set I've redone.

I have a pair of 10" punch speakers I bought in 1996, and they sat for about 9 years and when I finally just did a new system, I hooked them up and they lasted about 5 seconds and then all the bass disappeared. I thought they just died from age but when I took the grilles off, there was absolutely no surround left on either speaker. I was about to just toss them and get something new and I happened to come across this kit. I watched the install video and decided for about $35, what did i have to lose? First, these new foam surrounds are THICK and STRONG. You can feel how beefy these are. I did the entire job in a few hours on a Friday night on my dining room table, working on the cardboard box that the kit came in. I took my time cleaning up all of the old surround remnants and glue and then cleaned everything good with rubbing alcohol. I glued the new surrounds on and the glue does take a few minutes to set which is good. It gives you time to make sure things are lined up properly, and if you overdo it on the glue a bit and some squirts out, you can take your finger or a rag and clean it up before it hardens. You just have to keep going around and pressing and rubbing the surround to keep full contact until it sets up. Even though they were good to go within an hour or 2, I waited until the next afternoon to reinstall them and put the box in my car. I fired up my radio and HOLY CRAP these 23 year old speakers pound like they are new again. It's been a few weeks now and they are holding up great and I don't see any reason why they won't last a long time. I would recommend these to anyone that has an ounce of mechanical ability as it is very easy. You just need to take your time and it really is as east to do as they make it look in the video.

It was in great cheap foam fit perfectly and was very happy with the amount of glue and instructions, as always. The phone is good quality and so is glue and never have an issue with repair kits from these guys
