Great Buy

Kit as described. Installation directions were easy to follow. It has been installed for over a month and works like new. For under $30, a $300 woofer was restored.

What a relief! a fantastic fix!!! excellent instruction video!

I could not believe my Paradigm sub was old enough the foam was shot - but ALAS! it was crumbles!!! I was devastated as I thought I would have to purchase a new Sub - Simply Speakers to the rescue. the Foam replacement worked like a charm and the Sub is back to performing great! The instructional video is well worth watching - an I followed the advice - you do not have to ultra clean the frame ring before gluing; to do so would have been extremely time consuming and I doubt it would have made any difference.

The above item arrived swiftly and safely and after the old foam surround was remove and the existing cone and frame were cleaned and prepared, the replacement repair kit fitted perfectly with no issues. Very easy to follow instructions

I had great success with the foam kit for my subwoofer. Between the YouTube video and the packaged instuctions, it was very clear on how to complete the repair. The speaker sounds great.

I was able to restore the speaker on my Paradigm PDR-10 without any problems. The videos from Simply Speakers were extremely useful. The replacement foam was a perfect fit. After the instalationand Was completed, I coated the foam surround with the foam sealer. Very satisfied. Highly recommended.

Q: I just saw your website and video on how to repair the foam. Awesome. My sub was rattling so when I took it apart I found that the foam was for the most part completely gone. I'm assuming that this is what was causing the rattling as the speaker wasn't traveling up and down correctly without the foam guiding it. Second question this sub didn't have the top ring as your video showed with the Cerwin Vega. I have a Paradigm PS-1000 V3 with the -Woof562103 sub, it's pretty old and wanted to know if it's worth repairing?

A: This kit will solve the problem you are experiencing. Your Paradigm model does not use a top gasket, so just skip that step in the tutorial when you install the new surround kit.

A: The dust cap does not need to be replaced unless it is damaged, dented or torn.

A: The Foam Guard kit is a brush on PVA sealer that extends the life of the foam.

A: No. The paper gasket that is under the foam surround can stay in place for the repair.

Q: I have a Paradigm PDR10 self powered subwoofer that is making a "clacking" noise. It is 20 years old and when I took it apart I noticed the foam ring around the cone has come apart. I have no experience with speaker repairs and am wondering if the foam repair kit will solve my problem. If so, is this the product I need? Thanks for your help.

Q: When removing the gasket a thin layer of the gasket itself remained on the old foam still stuck to the metal.. Can I buy a new gasket or can I turn the old one upside down and re-apply?
