Foam kit for Large Advent With Larger Cone

Excellent product made better by very instructive videos. I initially ordered the wrong foam kit for my 1974 Large Advent speaker. It turns out that my speaker had been re-coned with a larger cone at some point and the Large Advent foam kit supplied by SimplySpeakers was too small. After contacting customer service by email, they replaced it at no charge with this FSK-12F kit which fits well. I live in a very dry climate and found that the working time of the adhesive was pretty short but it worked. Now my 1974 Large Advents have a new lease on life! Great customer service and product.

Design Acoustic DA-20LF

I needed a 12" speaker foam surround for my Design Acoustic DA-20LF Sub Woofer (dual voice coil sub). This kit, with a single surround, fit perfectly and was fairly easy to install after watching the online installation video.

I'm so lucky I stumbled onto Simplyspeakers.com! I ALMOST threw my Pioneer SW-100 Home Theater Sub-Woofer in the trash! It was rattling, and making all kinds of horrible noise and distortion. Then I found Simplyspeakers.com onlline and read; the most common issue with old speakers, is the rotting of the foam surround. I watched the online video of the repair method, and chatted online with the guys at Simplyspeakers.com, with some additional questions I had. They were extremely helpful! To make a long story short, I ordered the repair kit, made the repair, and for $20, and very little effort, I now have a sub-woofer that sounds like it did when it was new! Thank You!

I took my speakers out of storage at my son’s request, and the surrounds were completely shot. The speakers are glued into the enclosure, so repair seemed unlikely. I found you on the web site, with good dimensions for your surrounds so I could fit them without knowing the brand of speaker. With some trepidation I followed your instructions re centering the coil, and it all went really well. Your glue makes it very painless to get everything lined up, even when the speaker is mounted in a cabinet. The speakers are now back in service, good as new.

Fit into M&K Volkswoofer

I have a really old model M&K Volkswoofer, and this fit perfectly! Originally, I bought the Volkswoofer foam kit, but it did not fit. The guys at SS.com suggested this foam after seeing pictures of my sub. Sounds amazing! No flutter or holes at all. Installation was extremely easy! :)
