Great service and a fantastik product, keeps speakers original, saved a ton not buying new woofers which I couldn't find anyways. Saved my vintage Snell CII's, they sound perfect now. Wasn't sure which kit for my C II's so I bought one of each. Kits are great. It turns out either one of them will work and the speakers are as good as new. Snell AII repairs

Used to replace the shot foam surrounds on a pair of bass drivers in Snell AII speakers originally built in 1983. Straightforward and successful following the instructions and video, and a definite improvement in mid-bass performance once completed.

Short answer: Fabulous! Detailed feedback... Snell Ci original foam aged and deteriorated. However, back in the day, Snell expertly balanced their speaker pairs by adding a mass of glue onto one of the woofers so that the two speakers had nearly perfectly matched response characteristics. Therefore, restoring the surrounds is FAR better than replacing the two speakers with new "UN"matched drivers. The results with these new surrounds is astounding! The bass response is powerful and accurate... actually BETTER than I ever recall. Should have done this long ago! Take your time, watch/follow the video, and the results should be super. I let the glue set up overnight for each step just to be safe... should be good for another 10 years. Thanks for a great kit.

Used these to repair Snell Type C from around 1984. Was worried about not using shims on the voice coil....but they came out great. Just be sure to take your time and be patient. The video with the Cerwin Vega speaker was very helpful.
