Re-foamed both speakers

Excellent product. Replaced worn out foam edges on both of my Snell Type J IV speakers. Install was very easy. They work just like new!

Audiophile

Recently ordered the FSK-8DYN foam kit for a set of K/II's. They were a good fit. I do a lot of driver/speaker (Audio) repair work as a hobby, I always use SimplySpeakers. Great Customer Service, fast shipping, and great quality foam.

Easier than you think

Quality and simplicity. Just saved a pair of very old Snell speakers. I've never replaced surrounds before, but the video and written instructions are full of advice and tips about how to do it and, thankfully, what not to obsess about in the process. Thanks Simply Speakers

don't love the adhesive

2nd kit I've bought......foam and instructions are first rate. subwoofer foam was slightly stiffer than Snell foam.......in this lies my issue. my clean and preps were immaculate, and I had just enough time to position the subwoofer foam, before the glue set. I work carefully and fast, but still it was a close call before repositioning the foam was impossible. With the more floppy Snell foams, the set time on the adhesive was too fast and I could not get a proper center before the glue was fixed. Speakers sound fine, but the appearance is quite marginal. Did I get old glue? who knows. Not sure, but I had to hit placement of the foam dead center the first time. or live with it...............................Response from Simply Speakers: Thanks for the review! Agreed. This surround is very high compliance and it is definitely more difficult to work with the adhesive as a result. We apply the glue a bit heavier to give more working time when installing this kit.

Speakers sound brand new. Did not realize how bad they had gotten. Directions, especially the video were helpful. Since these pieces of foam were not exact fits, it would have been helpful if the hints on the back of the directions were near the front so that I would have been prepared for that situation.
