The PRO Zx line of passive crossovers are built with high quality components to insure clean pure sonic quality. The Linkwitz-Riley design can be used with a 4 ohm or 8 ohm low frequency load via the selectable jumper. IQ coils are utilized in the low pass circuit to insure a low D.C.R and efficient clean power transfer. Premium metallized polyester caps made from Dupont film insure accurate reproduction of the low and high frequency circuits. Each PRO Zx crossover is built on a premium PC board backed by a rigid hard board to insure durability. Brass eyelets are pressed in all four corners to allow for easy rugged mounting.

I purchased a total of two of the 3-way crossover networks, 12dB/Octave, 500/4000 Hz units for installation into my Sony SS-U501 speaker enclosures to not only enhance my sound reproductions from these speakers, but also to protect my investments of time, money, and materials when reconstructing my speaker enclosures. Mounting was easy - A total of five metal grommets on the face of the circuit board to accommodate the appropriately sized wood screws. The connections were nice and tight, and well identified ( marked ). The components on the circuit boards were of the best quality I've seen in a long time, and far superior to the factory's idea of passive crossover components. These units work flawlessly on all channels. I am very pleased with the craftsmanship of this item. I would highly recommend it to anyone, and will purchase this product again in the future for other speaker enclosure endeavors.

3 way crossover

I installed the 3 way crossovers in my floor standing speakers,that had the original crossovers from the early 80's inside. The difference was amazing. Clarity and detailed music was heard immediatly.The service is terrific,when I had a installation question,it was answered in a friendly professional manner.Slimply..highly reccomended Bob A.

old school cabs

installed x over today. 15" bass cab , mid range horn ,teeeter peavey system from 70s all seperate cabs. sound nice and clean at top volume too. nice crossover thank you

I purchased the crossovers and other parts to repair a set of 40 year old Jensen 4 speakers. It was all easy to install and works perfectly. I had given the speakers up for dead.....but now they'll out live me.

I used the crossovers to rebuild a pair of old JBL monitors with 15" woofers, 2441 2" compression driver midranges and JBL slot tweeters and they sound great - very balanced but with excellent top end crispness. I mounted them inside the cabinets and replaced the grill fabric with black fabric from Simply Speakers and they look much better too. I was very satisfied with the sound, service and price.

A: Yes, all of our crossovers have clearly marked tabs for the wiring to each driver and the input. In addition the low frequency section can be switched for 4 ohm or 8 ohm use.

Q: I wanted to replace the crossovers on an old pair of Pioneer CS-G403 3-way speakers since the originals looked really small, cheap, and I think may be affecting the sound. I was wondering if these would be a good fit? Or if you can recommend one. I was basically looking for an upgrade. The speakers have 15" woofers, and I'm replacing the tweeters and midranges with your T-120's and M-307's.

A: No! These are not compatible with your JBL Professional SR4700 cabinets. Your best bet is to use factory OEM crossovers to replace them.

A: For your Infinity model, we would recommend an original over any other option. However, if you cannot find a suitable OEM replacement, this unit would suffice if you replace them in both cabinets to match.

A: The differences are simply the crossover frequencies (points). Different crossover points are suited for use with different speakers.
