Did my Realistic 40-4050 12" passive subwoofer as age had taken its toll on the speaker surround. The FSK-12A-1 did the job nicely and I'm back on the road. The unit is sounding as it should.

Low Budget Audiophile

For my ancient Radio Shack passive subwoofer. Did the trick. Good as new and very easy thanks to the video and the tech support. Gives me the courage to dig out my ancient Cerwin Vega 3 ways and refoam them soon and get them back into operation.

The edge surround kit installed exactly as specified in the instructions. Centering the cone to avoid voice coil rub was easily done. The kit was installed on my BIC V-12 subwoofer speaker. Hopefully knowing this will enable Simply Speakers to list this model speaker as a sure fit! The BIC now as a new life expectancy. Thanks.

Ordered 12 in. edge foam kit to repair an old school Velodyne subwoofer from 1994 . I couldnt tell what used to be there, the standard 12 foam fit just right .I took my time ,it was very easy to install after I checked out the you tube video. The sub looks and works like brand new . planing to do a klypsch driver next and then the 8in sub in my Tahoe .Excellent product ,highly recommended !

Fits a Pyramid PW1272-US 12" Woofer

I needed to refoam a Pyramid PW1272-US DVC 12" woofer. The FSK-12A kit fit the cone almost perfectly. This was my second time dealing with Simply Speakers, and the service both times has been outstanding. Previous experience was to restore a pair of Radio Shack Mach II 15" woofers, of which there are several slightly different models. Their instructions for completing the job have worked perfectly every time, and make a seemingly impossible task easy to accomplish. Excellent service and chat/email communication, always. NOTE: For this particular speaker, the Simply Speakers 4-piece 12" cardboard gasket was slightly too large to fit the speaker basket. It can be trimmed to fit, but working carefully, you should be able to remove and reuse the old gasket, which is one-piece.

Worked exactly as described

Bought this for an Optimus subwoofer that had a shot surround. Watched the video and followed the directions. Came out perfect! I I was originally going to try to make my own surround out of some left over foam material I had. This was so much easier. I would do it this way again on the next failed speaker.
