Standard 12" Foam Speaker Repair Kit FSK-12F (PAIR)

I highly recommend the Standard 12" Foam Speaker Repair Kit FSK-12F for replacing the foam surround of a driver that has deteriorated. The U-Tube Video was particularly useful in demonstrating the directions for the repair, and was simple to follow. After repairing both of my 12" drivers and re-installing them I was extremely pleased with the sound results. They look and sound like new again.

A friend at work recommended this foam speaker repair kit to me. I took some careful measurements and ordered the FSK-12F kit for my MTX speakers. I also watched the YouTube video to see what I was getting into. Actually the process was very easy and I'm still grinning every time I crank up those speakers! I have to say, the glue supplied with the kit is perfect. It goes on easy, and you can feel it hardening up ever so slightly as you're positioning the foam surround. By the time you've got everything exactly where you want it, the glue is holding as it should - It's set up time is exactly right. 5 stars for saving these awesome speakers!

Got here fast. Good instructions. First time I refoamed speakers. Was pretty easy and my 1970s Audio Analyst speakers now sound great!

Ordered foam repair kit for my 25 year old speakers. I sent an e mail to the guys and confirmed that this kit would work.I ordered and had shipped to an US address in Florida that I picked up when visiting some family members. In 3 days USP had delivered. I installed the foam kit and my speakers are just like the day I bought them.Look at the on line videos and this is simple to do. Thanks simply speakers.

I was able to replace the foam surrounds for both the 12" woofers and 3" mid-range cone on my 33 yr old Pinnacle speakers all by myself! The 3" mid-range surrounds went quickly, but the 12" woofer surrounds were a bit tricky because the fit was very close...I wish they inner diameter had been a tiny bit smaller to fit better, but it appears to have worked ok. The video showing how to remove the old pieces, clean-up the cones and glue on the replacements was very clear and understandable. I would suggest, however, that you DON'T recommend using your finger to spread the glue...it sets up VERY quickly and makes handling the foam surround impossible with the glue on your finger. I will now feel better about selling them, since they're good as new and sound terrific. :)

Repair kit was delivered within a week from online Sunday order. Successfully repaired passive 12" woofers in old speakers. Working great after 3 or 4 hours play time at moderate volume. I previously purchased kits to repair passive woofers for old ESS speakers. Thanks.

This is my second set of foams I have ordered from Simply Speakers. With instructions, you tube videos anyone with amplitude can reform their speakers. I am happy with the results and the ability to get more life out of my speakers .
