I ordered the 10" speaker gasket kit after installing your 10 re-foam kit on my Bose 501 II speakers. I am absolutely thrilled with the finale results. I bought my Bose in 1973 but over the last several years the sound was not good. I was torn between throwing them out or buying new speakers. I came across your site while watching other videos on UTube looking for answers to what might be wrong with my speakers. After watching your videos, thought I could manage it myself. Long story short, they play just like they did when I bought them. And I saved lots of money!

Great gaskets

I installed new gaskets the same time when I repaired the foam around my 10" Boston Acoustics floor speakers. It is a great gasket , perfect fit and very easy installation. The material is better quality than the original was there. Works great

A good addition.

This was an unnecessary but worthwhile addition to my AR2Ax rebuild. This gasket with minimal trimming gave my woofer a finished look . After a refoam I applied the gasket and turned the driver over to let it cure resting on its face. The gasket acted like a 360° clamp and is airtight.

Easy Peasy

I have some Scott S19’s that I bought in the 70’s. Always loved the sound they produced. Fast forward many years after storing them in our crawl-space, when I went to reconnect my old equipment, now that I’m a retired empty-nester, the original woofer gaskets had essentially dissolved with time. Found SS via web search and was intrigued with the great support videos and collateral to where I was ready to give it a shot. I’m fairly mechanically inclined so after confirming (quickly) thru the chat feature which refoam set I needed, along with the corresponding gaskets placed the order. Felt the price and delivery were quite fair, and in the matter of a couple of hours had both repaired and sounding like brand new. Tested ‘em with vinyl Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, and boom - clean as the day they were new. Will highly recommend SS to anyone thinking of undergoing speaker repair. It was easy-peasy.

Q: Ordered 2 10" spkrs for Digital Acoustics PS10. The thick rubber gasket is glued tightly to the edge.Can I remove it ,or should I just try to scrape the entire thing off and try to replace? Thanks..Ken

A: Normally, the gaskets can be removed and re-used. If not, then our 10" gasket kit will do the trick.
