Gold binding posts

I snapped one post off my Energy tower speaker and needed to replace it. There was no issue in unscrewing these from the mounting plate they shipped on then replacing the broken one on my speaker. I did both posts because I'm type A. :) The price was very reasonable and I was pleased with how quickly the product arrived. The reason for the 4/5 rating is because the banana plugs don't seem to fit as securely in these replacements as they did in the previous ones, but I have had no problems at all.

I purchased two of the 5-way Gold Binding Posts for use with my Sony speaker cabinets, model #SS-U501, as replacements for the original 'spring clip' style connectors that were factory installed. Installation was merely a matter of properly measuring, marking, cutting, and dress filing of the speaker enclosure wood to mount them in place of the original units. The appearance is great, and the quality of the connection I now have is superior to the original speaker connectors. I'm definitely pleased with the end result.

Exactly what I expected.

Solid piece of hardware - does the job. Expensive because of shipping and other costs etc. but could not find locally, so had no choice as I needed it for a project. It took longer than expected to receive with the main delay occurring after it entered Canada.

Binding Posts Not Quite What I Wanted

I was disappointed to open the box and find the black housing was plastic when I assumed from the photo they were metallic. Soldering directly to them might have caused damage so I returned them. Refund was promptly made. Thanks.

AW 400 Replacement Terminals

Installed these on an older pair of Klisph AW 400 outdoor speakers. Didn't use the whole assembly .... just used the gold terminals..... seem to be of high quality (better than the originals from Klisph).... working great and I'm sure the gold coating will be excellent for protection from the elements.

Excellent Upgrade

I purchased a pairs these to replace the long worn out and damaged stock binding posts on my vintage Boston Acoustic T1000 tower speakers. They fit perfectly into the existing cutout on the bottom of my cabinet. The only modification I made was to switch one of the wire connecting tabs on the back of the post with the wider one from the old set. This is because both attachment tabs on this unit are the same size, which made the wider female connector on my speaker's wire a bit too loose for my tastes (the narrower one fit perfectly into the tab). With the better connection my speakers sound better than ever, and since these connectors are metal instead of cheap plastic, I should never have a problem with them again.

Replacement binding posts.

Did not have the exact replacement but Simply Speakers comes through once again and the kit worked good for my KLIPSCH speakers.

I purchased this product to replace the original posts which had snapped off of my 1990's Advent Heritage speaker. I spoke to the very helpful and professional cust. svc. people at Simply Speakers who advised me that i could simply unscrew the posts from this mounting plate and replace them into my existing mounting plate on my speaker. They work great and I'm happy to have my speakers back in working order!
