SS Audio Diaphragm for Yamaha 4201, 4204, 4207, 4208, 8 Ohm, D-4201

Items arrived in a timely manner. Installation was touch & go because these diaphragms have to "snap" into place. It took, what I thought was, an inordinate amount of pressure to successfully attach the units. With the amount of pressure required, I was afraid I might bend, break, warp or destroy this delicate product. I would suggest the manufacturer enlarge the pilot holes, a wee bit, to allow for smoother, stress free, installation. Once installed they work wonderfully. NOTE: I also installed a power absorbing "fuse" system to bleed off excess power which helps prevent frying the 20w diaphragms.

Within 15 minuets, I removed the horn from the cabinet, removed the blown driver, installed the new driver, reinstalled the horn, and was ready for a sound check before the band had finished setting up. The sound check was successful. Also, I received the package one day before it was scheduled for delivery.

Worked great. Made the old speakers sound new again. Up grade is right after you built new crossovers.

I took out my old Yamaha PA out of the garage closet as I needed it for an event I was doing the sound for. I discovered I shattered HF diaphragm on one of the speakers. Looking through the internet I found the new part on this website and ordered it. It arrived in a few days and works great. I highly recommend SS for their service and quality
