Its a good kit

My friend recommended Simply Speakers when I needed to refoam my Optimus Pro 77s. The 77s are great speakers, and when I noted that they were started to make "poommfff" sounds, I was worried that they were dead. For a little less then $30, they're back up and running.

Minimus 77

The Minimus 77 has an odd size woofer and this kit was the closest I could find that would fit. The roll width is a little less than the original and the other dimensions are slightly different than the original but everything was close enough to make it work. I just had to be careful to make sure the foam was centered on the cone. I can't tell any difference in sound after the repair.

Product performed excellent. I myself did not apply the foam, but I am told although tricky it was not hard. As many have said second one was a breeze. I am so happy to finally have a great set of old speakers new again

Consumer

This repair kit was recommended for the Optimus Pro 77 5" woofer. The I.D. of the edge was glued to the top of the cone due to a difficulty in accurate centering on underside of cone. The O.D. of the edge was barely large enough to be glued to the frame but could be done. Therefore I have some doubt of the kit being the correct application for this speaker.
