SS Audio Speaker Diaphragm for Peavey RX14, 8 Ohm, D-RX14

Voice coil: 1.375" (35mm)
Diameter: 3" (76mm)
Impedance: 8 ohm, DCR: 5.8 ohm
Titanium dome with copper voice coil on Kapton former to fit original Peavey
For some versions you must cut mounting screws to 7/16" (11mm) length to attach new diaphragm
Please check your model before ordering to make sure you are getting the correct diaphragm.

Awesome

SO glad I picked this over going for the Peavey brand. Hooked it up in a matter of minutes, and sounds IDENTICAL to the Peavey model that was previously in my PA speaker. Awesome sound, HALF the price. It's literally identical in sound AND look. Almost as if they pulled the peavey label off, put a new one on and sold it for half the price.

Q: Hey got a Peavey RX-14 need to replace Diaphragm Took old one off it has some kind oil, Is that the cooling oil inside? Can I clean the magnet with DeoxIT spray before new one is installed? What do you recommend?

A: The oil is called "ferro-fluid" for cooling. If it is not burnt or gel-like, you can leave it as-is and simply replace the diaphragm. If not, we sell the replacement ferro-fluid packs and they come with cleaning instructions and wipes. Use rubbing alcohol to clean the top of the magnet before installing the new diaphragm.

Q: I have a rx14 tweeter that I believe is blown. Will replacing just the diaphragm fix the problem? I swapped out the rx14 from the other speaker and the crossover is ok. Wondering if i need the magnet too or just diaphragm

A: You will need the diaphragm only. The magnet will not go bad, or fail.
